ATTENTION: Mr Greg Growden
NZ vs. Arg = The referee was absolutely disgraceful, shameless, not up to it, incompetent (not even 2nd grade!), HE SHOULD RETURN HIS PAY PACKET TO THE IRB and publicly apologise to all and sundry. Also should pay his travel expenses out of his own pocket. If this is professionalism I am Napoleon Bonaparte (with a goatee and much better sense of fairness).
It is really apalling that in a multi-billion dollar business which is “World Rugby” (ex-IRB), we the paying spectators have to swallow that garbage. This was an insult to 45 Million Argentinians for starters and the rest of the world except the 4 Million that live in New Zealand.
This should be a case to be utilised to set a precedent, that in this day and age, IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR AN OFFICIAL OF THE IRB to under-perform to such an extent! –
I am not saying that he was mal-intended but for the same token he was completely substandard. A disciplinary action is in order, to both referees and to the panel that selected them!!! Yes is a tough call, yet it’s got to be done. If anyone in the IRB stops, thinks and adds up?
HOW MUCH IT COSTS TO MOVE A TEAM OF 40 PEOPLE AROUND THE WORD?, I’d be surprised if the total figure was less than US$500.000.- If I’m way off the mark, Mr. Brett Gosper, please correct me, I’d like to be well informed not just guessing!
